The lowly stable and barn animals surrounding this newborn baby were quite unimpressive.  But the amazing thing about the birth of Jesus was that His true father was not Joseph, but our almighty Creator - God the Father!  This is why Jesus was capable of such miracles as healing the sick, calming a violent storm with His words, and restoring the dead to life again.  He even rose from the dead three days after He was crucified!  According to the Bible, Jesus is both fully human and fully God, making Him the perfect gift for the world.
